Objective

To support Albania’s EU integration through full alignment and transposition of the EU Transport Acquis by strengthening the administrative, regulatory, and technical capacities of Albania’s Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the National Railway Authority, Albanian Railways, and the Maritime Administration.

Results

Savvy Business supported Albania’s transport sector alignment with EU standards by reviewing legislation, identifying gaps with the EU acquis, and proposing regulatory improvements. The project enhanced institutional capacity for implementing ADR and ATP agreements, supported structural reforms including the creation of an accident investigation body and reorganization of GDRTS, and delivered targeted capacity-building activities.
