The overall objective of the project was to improve the transport sector through assistance to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine (previous Ministry of Transport and Communications) in developing and implementing a Strategy and Action Plan for Transport Integration into the Trans-European transport network.
Savvy experts delivered a comprehensive assessment of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine’s organizational structure, regulatory procedures, and transport governance system. It evaluated institutional capacity to implement the Transport Strategy and meet SBS indicators. Based on the findings, recommendations were made for legal and regulatory improvements, project prioritization support was provided, and selected transport projects were analysed using approved methodologies to enhance strategic planning and sector efficiency
