INOGATE IFI Technical Assistance for facilitating investments in oil & gas projects

This Project was a strategic initiative under the European Union’s INOGATE programme, aimed at enhancing energy cooperation between the EU and countries in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. The Project focused on creating a conducive environment for investments in the oil and gas sectors by aligning partner countries' legal and regulatory frameworks with EU standards, thereby fostering market integration and energy security.

The Project successfully supported the identification and preparation of bankable oil and gas infrastructure projects across Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, improving the investment climate and aligning national energy frameworks with EU standards. It provided legal and regulatory advice, conducted feasibility studies, and enhanced institutional capacities through training and technical support, thereby fostering regional energy integration, reducing investment barriers, and increasing access to International Financial Institution (IFI) funding for critical oil and gas developments.
