Inclusive Education Model Development and Training

The project “Inclusive Education Model Development and Training” funded under the “Modernization Education Program” by World Bank provides assistance to the Ministry of Science and Higher education to reform the inclusive education in Kazakhstan according to latest international practices and enhance the capacity of teachers and professors to apply new methods in the field.

Due to an excellent cooperation and efficient management of the contract, NKUA and Savvy Business have successfully delivered an Inclusive Education Model in Kazakhstan addressing the learning needs of all children. The Model is aimed to be applied by all secondary schools and universities. About 513 teachers have received a 72 hours training program in 5 cities in Kazakhstan covering rural areas as well. The feedback of the teachers is that this is a kind of a program which increased their professional competence in inclusive education and moreover it provided practice and workshops of highest quality and interest. Both Ministry and the educational institutions requested go continue such trainings after the project end.
