Objective

The project’s overall objective is to promote the economic, political and social development of Uzbekistan, in line with the priorities set out in the EU-Uzbekistan PCA, such as approximation of Uzbek laws, regulations and administrative procedures to EU norms, together with the development of institutional enforcement capacity.

Results

The activities delivered under this contract significantly supported Uzbekistan’s reform agenda and strengthened bilateral relations with the EU. Key outcomes included the development of a comprehensive four-year Action Plan for implementing the PCA, improved EU-Uzbekistan cooperation through Decree 134, legal and regulatory advisory support across key economic sectors, and the establishment of PCA secretariat arrangements to enhance institutional coordination and reform implementation.
