Objective

Assist the client in developing a safety management system (SMS) in accordance with the requirements of the International Code for the Management of Safe Operation of Ships and Pollution Prevention (ISM).

Results

Based on the draft documents draft documents of the SMS prepared according to the International Safety Management Code (ISMC), an organizational structure of the Company in accordance with ISMC has been delivered along with requirements for personnel (appointed person/persons, captains). In order to ensure the assimilation of the documentation and the new concepts proposed, a seminar to the selected Company’s personnel was delivered concerning the issues of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and practices of implementation. Both the Documents and the Training were very well received by the Company’s staff.
