Objective

The project “Consulting Services for Promoting Internationalization of Higher Education” falls under Component 3 of the Innovation, Inclusion and Quality Project implemented by World Bank in Georgia. The objective of this component is to improve the quality and international competitiveness of higher education, i.e. to build the capacity for national promotion of the internationalization of Higher Education.

Results

Our team together with academics of UCL Consultants successfully prepared a Joint PhD Program on Management in Education with partners TSU and NKUA. Also, six English language modules were developed with professors from the Georgian Universities which shall be included in the higher education optional courses starting from 2025. Finally, we have successfully designed, prepared and delivered three International Excellence Schools on a) Competitive projects: application and management; b) Intersectoral cooperation, technology transfer and innovation in Higher Education and c) Intellectual Property (IP) rights in the field of Higher Education with a total of 90 participants. The project involved the active participation of more than 20 universities from Georgia.
