Objective

Assessment of the legal conformity of Greek national legislation with the provisions of the EU Directive 91/676/EEC on the “Protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources”, and evaluation of the effectiveness of its implementation steps.

Results

Detailed National Report and a Horizontal Synthesis Report on Greece regarding the transposition of Directive 91/676/EEC into the domestic legal regime by examining all relevant Greek legislation, including the national case law and administrative practice with impact on the transposition, providing actionable recommendations for legal and procedural amendments to ensure full and effective implementation of the Directive.
