Objective

This specific assignment is a part of framework contract (FWC) MOVE/ENER/SRD/2020/OP/0008, Lot 4 Legal assistance in the field of mobility and transport. Savvy Business as sub-contractor of Milieu Consulting performs the compliance assessment for the Directive (EU) 2017/2397 “Recognition of professional qualifications in inland navigation” for Bulgaria and Romania.

Results

A Completeness assessment of transposition of Directive (EU) 2017/2397 on the recognition of professional qualifications in inland navigation as amended by Directive (EU) 2021/1233 setting transitional measures for the recognition of third-country certificates and of Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2020/12 on standards for competences and corresponding knowledge and skills, for the practical examinations, for the approval of simulators and for medical fitness, was successfully delivered. A Conformity assessment of transposition of Directives of Directive (EU) 2017/2397 in the national legislation of Bulgaria and Romania has been submitted and approved by the European Commission/DG MOVE. Translations into English of the national transposing provisions were also attached.
