Objective

The main objective of the project was to assist Ukraine in accession to the international conventions and agreements in field of transport, as well as to strengthen the capacity of the Ukrainian authorities responsible for the implementation of international conventions and agreements.

Results

Identification and prioritization of international agreements relevant to Ukraine’s transport and infrastructure sectors, along with an analysis of their alignment with national legislation. Key legal and institutional gaps were assessed to support effective accession and implementation. Recommendations were developed to facilitate compliance, institutional strengthening, and alignment with EU and international standards, enhancing Ukraine’s integration into global and regional frameworks.
