Ancient Olympia, Greece – June 2026 – The 2nd International Summer School on Inclusive Education & Inclusive Technology has successfully concluded at the International Olympic Academy in Ancient Olympia, bringing together 50 participants from 13 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States.

Organized by Savvy Business with Nationaland Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), the Summer School was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Greece, the Ministry of Tourism of Greece, the Municipality of Ancient Olympia, and the Region of Western Greece. The programme once again demonstrated the value of international cooperation in advancing inclusive, innovative, and evidence-based education.

Throughout the 5-day programme, participants explored contemporary approaches that are shaping the future of education, including Independent Living for Persons with Disabilities, Relational Inclusivity through Social Network Analysis (SNA), Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Differentiated Pedagogy, Artificial Intelligence for Inclusive Teaching, and Human–AI approaches to creating safe and inclusive learning environments. The programme combined academic excellence with practical application, enabling participants to exchange experiences, develop new competencies, and build lasting international partnerships.

Beyond its academic programme, the Summer School fostered a vibrant international community united by a shared commitment to ensuring that every learner has equitable access to quality education. Participants collaborated across cultures and disciplines, exchanging ideas and best practices that will continue to influence classrooms and educational institutions around the world.

One participant summarized the experience in a simple but powerful statement:

"I am going to be a better teacher and a better person."

For the organizers, this reflects the programme's greatest achievement: empowering educators to create meaningful change in their schools and communities.

Savvy Business extends its sincere appreciation to its partners and sponsors - AECOM, Fundația Nawaf Salameh, Athens International Airport, IDEAL Holdings, STEELMET Corporate Services, Sunel Group, Zephyros Partners, and George Haloulis &Co - whose support made this international initiative possible. Their commitment demonstrates that investing in educators is an investment in stronger, more inclusive societies.

Although the Summer School has concluded, its impact continues. Participants will remain connected through an international community of practice that will promote ongoing collaboration, professional networking, and the exchange of innovative and evidence-based educational practices.
