1st International Excellence School

Within the contract GE-MESCS-212280-CS-QCBS "Consulting Services for Promoting Internationalization of Higher Education" of the WB Innovation, Inclusion and Quality Project,  between 26-28 January 2024, the first International Excellence School: Competitive projects: application and management was held in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The winter school was hosted by Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and British University in Georgia.

The first International Excellence School focused on the application and management of Competitive Research Projects in the Fields of Education, Humanities and the Social Sciences and concerns the following issues:

• Development of project proposals for competitive projects
• Best practices for management of competitive projects and
•   Financial aspects of competitive projects  

Early Career Academics in the fields of the Education, Humanities and the Social Sciences, who are actively involved in research or are planning to do so, had the opportunity to be exposed to best international practices, to present their research project plans and get advice from international and Georgian academic experts and peers.
